Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donald Treiber took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Obersgegen! An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Treiber in the 9th minute of play forced Preussen Krefeld II's goalkeeper Oswald Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Obersgegen's zone, Jörn Grosser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonid Sanders came out of the goal and Jörn Grosser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Lukasz Hopp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Obersgegen's Lukasz Hopp got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philipp Fröhlich in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswald Kuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jörn Grosser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Sanders having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Preussen Krefeld II's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Treiber came free, but Oswald Kuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Preussen Krefeld II's goal looked a bit too open when Philipp Fröhlich came free, but Oswald Kuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preussen Krefeld II's Oswald Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Treiber in the 29th minute of play. Joachim Euskirchen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Sanders having to interfere. Roger Oppenheim charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Gerrit Reichel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Preussen Krefeld II's Oswald Kuch. Oswald Kuch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Obersgegen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Stube to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Herbert Stube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonid Sanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivica Egger kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Lukasz Hopp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obersgegen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preussen Krefeld II the free kick. After 56 played minutes Obersgegen got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Hopp. If Täve Echterhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Preussen Krefeld II's Oswald Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Treiber in the 61st minute of play. With 68 minutes on the clock, Florin Gottmann commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Obersgegen booed when Preussen Krefeld II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Gottmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Donald Treiber recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oswald Kuch. Donald Treiber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Obersgegen's Lukasz Hopp got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Lukasz Hopp off the ground. After a rather tough play, Obersgegen's Lukasz Hopp got a free kick in the 76th minute. Norbert Wöhrle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Oswald Kuch made a huge save. After 84 minutes of play, Obersgegen's Norbert Wöhrle made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswald Kuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Preussen Krefeld II's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Treiber came free, but Oswald Kuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obersgegen's Wiggo Bartels got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
