When Jens Das came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Obersgegen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Das couldn't finish the play. Jens Das came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sigmar Voland could save by the left post. Kim Rasche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kim Rasche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonid Sanders read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Sigmar Voland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Treiber in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Jens Das managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obersgegen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Das was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donald Treiber succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the last second Sigmar Voland throw himself and got hold of the ball when Donald Treiber in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Obersgegen's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Schulze-Boysen came free, but Leonid Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Obersgegen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frederik Pöhler was slow to take the kick. During this time TV PFLUGFELDEN's players had a chance to rest. Sigmar Voland made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jens Das sent off a good shot on target. Jens Das sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Obersgegen's goalkeeper Leonid Sanders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Obersgegen getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lukasz Hopp hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Donald Treiber put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sigmar Voland. Jens Das sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sigmar Voland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donald Treiber's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Sigmar Voland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Das in the 69th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Donald Treiber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obersgegen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Obersgegen had won after a very even match.
