Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hermann Grunert made the kick off which started today's match. Hermann Grunert took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Schirmer. Thomas Schirmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Gersheim's Bobby Enderle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Punke. Paulo Punke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 12 played minutes Detzem got a freekick which was hit by Rainer Campe. 15 minutes into the match, Detzem's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Enderle came free, but Paulo Punke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Schirmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfram Ridder in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Detzem got a freekick which was hit by Gil Kick. In the 25th minute Bobby Enderle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Punke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Punke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Ruge in the 27th minute of the match. Detzem's Paulo Punke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaus Ruge in the 36th minute of play. Gil Plum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gersheim's goalkeeper Thomas Schirmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Gersheim's goalie and right to Rainer Campe. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Gersheim's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bobby Enderle to strike the kick off in the second half. Wolfram Ridder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Punke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Enderle in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Detzem's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Enderle came free, but Paulo Punke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Punke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Enderle, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Hermann Grunert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Schirmer came out and tried to block the shot, but Hermann Grunert slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 63rd minute. Paulo Punke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Plum in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Detzem's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Plum came free, but Paulo Punke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Detzem's Rainer Campe got a free kick in the 69th minute. Paulo Punke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Enderle in the 76th minute of the match. Wolfram Ridder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Wolfram Ridder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Detzem defense, Jörg Hupach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Punke. The Detzem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Punke should have stopped the shot. Gersheim's Thomas Schirmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Gersheim from getting a goal against them. The Detzem players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gersheim from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
