Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hermann Grunert started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Hermann Grunert notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Preussen Krefeld II's Oswald Kuch. Oswald Kuch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute Hermann Grunert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswald Kuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainer Campe in the 9th minute of play forced Preussen Krefeld II's goalkeeper Oswald Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswald Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainer Campe in the 14th minute of the match. Rainer Campe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Oswald Kuch made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Hermann Grunert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswald Kuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Punke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Täve Echterhoff in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Preussen Krefeld II's Florian Trumpf got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 37th minute, Wolfram Ridder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswald Kuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainer Campe in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Oswald Kuch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 44 minutes into the match, Preussen Krefeld II's goal looked a bit too open when Rainer Campe came free, but Oswald Kuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, Lars Mühlfenzl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswald Kuch was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Joe Schikowsky charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joe Schikowsky the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Detzem got a freekick which was hit by Joe Schikowsky. Hermann Grunert scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswald Kuch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Detzem's Hermann Grunert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswald Kuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermann Grunert in the 68th minute of play forced Preussen Krefeld II's goalkeeper Oswald Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Preussen Krefeld II defense, Lars Mühlfenzl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswald Kuch. The Preussen Krefeld II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswald Kuch should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Preussen Krefeld II's Ivica Egger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivica Egger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Preussen Krefeld II protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivica Egger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 73 played minutes Preussen Krefeld II got a freekick which was hit by Ivica Egger. Oswald Kuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Grunert, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Otfried Hesse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Hermann Grunert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswald Kuch. Preussen Krefeld II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermann Grunert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 84 played minutes Preussen Krefeld II got a freekick which was hit by Täve Echterhoff. Preussen Krefeld II's Oswald Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Campe in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hermann Grunert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswald Kuch. Preussen Krefeld II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermann Grunert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Joe Schikowsky was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee ended the match the Detzem players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
