The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Hirt helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes FC Frankfurt got a freekick which was hit by Bo Hirt. Kai Gläßel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sebastian Ahrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Ahrens made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Aimo Bauer sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Ahrens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aimo Bauer in the 45th minute. Sebastian Ahrens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aimo Bauer's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes FC Schluffies got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Dagenbach. The supporters of FC Frankfurt booed when FC Schluffies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Roth didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Frankfurt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witold Griefahn in the 81st minute. FC Schluffies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Witold Griefahn ran over to the corner to take the kick. Witold Griefahn made a great header on FC Frankfurt's corner, it was just that FC Schluffies's Sebastian Ahrens managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Aimo Bauer sped through FC Schluffies's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Ahrens. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Frankfurt had won after a very even match.
