In the 12th minute of the match, Joachim Euskirchen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Scharpe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Herbert Stubes short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Robert Scharpe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute, Noel Borchert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Robert Scharpe managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Preussen Krefeld II's Herbert Stube fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robert Scharpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Stube's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Jörn Grosser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Robert Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Preussen Krefeld II's Florian Trumpf pulled a muscle in his back after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Noel Borchert fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Paradieso's protests and gave Noel Borchert a yellow card for diving instead. Noel Borchert hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Preussen Krefeld II got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Althenn. Bernard Nowak charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard Nowak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, FC Paradieso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Nowak to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Euskirchen was the one to do the kick off. Herbert Stube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Scharpe having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Paradieso's goalkeeper Robert Scharpe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Scharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Althenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bernard Nowak came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Paradieso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Nowak couldn't finish the play. Noel Borchert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Oswald Kuch made a huge save. Robert Scharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Althenn in the 62nd minute of the match. If Herbert Stube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Täve Echterhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Robert Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Täve Echterhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Scharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Stube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Scharpe having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Täve Echterhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preussen Krefeld II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Täve Echterhoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Täve Echterhoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Grosser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, FC Paradieso's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Althenn came free, but Robert Scharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Täve Echterhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Robert Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jörn Grosser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preussen Krefeld II's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Grosser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Scharpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Paradieso's Robert Scharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Täve Echterhoff in the 94th minute of play.
