Obersgegen's Donald Treiber got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens Das could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Paulo Punke made a huge save. Paulo Punke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Das in the 10th minute. If Wolfram Ridder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Mühlfenzl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Sanders having to interfere. Detzem's Albin Schäfer got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otfried Hesse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Oppenheim hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Paulo Punke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Das in the 26th minute. Leonid Sanders showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Kick, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Paulo Punke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Treiber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens Das could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Paulo Punke made a huge save. Wolfram Ridder struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Leonid Sanders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Detzem. Leonid Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Kick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Hermann Grunert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Detzem's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermann Grunert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonid Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Rainer Campe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Detzem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rainer Campe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Detzem's Paulo Punke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Treiber in the 45th minute of play. Erasmus Strauch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Punke. Detzem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Detzem's goalkeeper Paulo Punke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens Das. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
In the 56th minute Donald Treiber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Punke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Albin Schäfer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Punke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Obersgegen's Donald Treiber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Punke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 64th minute, Gil Kick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonid Sanders was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Obersgegen's Leonid Sanders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Obersgegen from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Detzem booed when Obersgegen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Treiber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Norbert Wöhrle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Punke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Mühlfenzl's late challenge caught a Obersgegen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Mühlfenzl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, one of Detzem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Detzem. In the 81st minute, Norbert Wöhrle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obersgegen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Paulo Punke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Treiber in the 86th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Wolfram Ridder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Obersgegen's Erling Röbe got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rainer Campe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Detzem's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainer Campe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonid Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Detzem's Abdel Rechner got a free kick in the 96th minute. Obersgegen's Erasmus Strauch couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Detzem. The Obersgegen support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
