Lukas Wege made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Weiler in the 26th minute of play. If Ismael Weiler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jann Hinz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erim Azimoğlu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gunnar Etringer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Großfischbach FSV. 40 minutes into the match, Großfischbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Rüdiger Pofahl came free, but Lukas Wege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Wege didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Weiler went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erim Azimoğlu made a kick off. Chris Schruoffeneger charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Rüdiger Pofahl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rüdiger Pofahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüdiger Pofahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukas Wege breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Ismael Weiler took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Lukas Wege to make any attempt to save it. With splendid footwork Ismael Weiler arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-4 by the left pole in the game's 66th minute. With a little luck, Großfischbach FSV's Lukas Wege got control of the ball when Rüdiger Pofahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukas Wege showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Weiler in the 71st minute of the match. Rüdiger Pofahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lukas Wege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
