It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wolf-Dieter Schröder kicked off to start the match. Ned Meyer kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Süderschwei's goal looked a bit too open when Hristo Widenmeyer came free, but Rasmus Hahnen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Süderschwei's Rasmus Hahnen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Widenmeyer in the 10th minute of play. Gernot Bullinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolf-Dieter Schröder, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rasmus Hahnen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephane Schmitz in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Marburg 19's zone, Wolf-Dieter Schröder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernot Bullinger came out of the goal and Wolf-Dieter Schröder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wolf-Dieter Schröder came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Süderschwei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wolf-Dieter Schröder couldn't finish the play. Wolf-Dieter Schröder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gernot Bullinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernot Bullinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milenko Bleich, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Süderschwei defense, Stephane Schmitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasmus Hahnen. The Süderschwei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Hahnen should have stopped the shot. Joschi Banz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ned Meyer took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gernot Bullinger. Gernot Bullinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wolf-Dieter Schröder kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Hristo Widenmeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hristo Widenmeyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Kowalski hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Süderschwei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf-Dieter Schröder to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, FC Marburg 19's Stephane Schmitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rasmus Hahnen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wolf-Dieter Schröder did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Gernot Bullinger 70 minutes into the match. Milenko Bleich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernot Bullinger having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Süderschwei walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
