If Richard Deimann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernhard Gabler in the 13th minute of play forced Polonia Gaschowitz's goalkeeper Malte Kleist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Rosenbaum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Malte Kleist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Claus Strohfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Gaschowitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claus Strohfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, AC Frövel's Bradley Hähle got a free kick in the 19th minute. Polonia Gaschowitz's Claus Strohfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Polonia Gaschowitz booed when AC Frövel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Hähle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Rosenbaum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malte Kleist having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Hans Rosenbaum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Frövel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polonia Gaschowitz's goalkeeper Malte Kleist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Hans Rosenbaum managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Frövel's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Rosenbaum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malte Kleist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernhard Gabler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malte Kleist having to make a save. 50 minutes into the game, Hans Rosenbaum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Malte Kleist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claus Strohfeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Hristo Fock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes, Jan Haase mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Frövel and the Polonia Gaschowitz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Haase hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the game, Jan Haase landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Pattmann during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AC Frövel booed when Polonia Gaschowitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Pattmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malte Kleist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Rosenbaum went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Malte Kleist made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Hans Rosenbaum sent off a good shot on target. Polonia Gaschowitz's Claus Strohfeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bradley Hähle kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Harry Krauß shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for AC Frövel's Egil Menzner to catch but Harry Krauß was lucky. It became 3-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After having played for 101 minutes, Richard Deimann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia Gaschowitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Deimann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
