With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Brunar in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Kelme saved Bindersleben from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Brunar in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Kelme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute of the game Leon Schikorra made a throw-in which Akira Gerdung played forward. Engelsby's Carl Brunar got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Brunar in the 28th minute of play forced Bindersleben's goalkeeper Dennis Kelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Bindersleben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Bluhm to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bindersleben's zone, Gabor Pechmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Kelme came out of the goal and Gabor Pechmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Engelsby fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Engelsby's Carl Brunar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilfried Wille kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Brunar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Kelme made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Gabor Pechmann sent off a good shot on target. Gabor Pechmann charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabor Pechmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Engelsby booed when Bindersleben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akira Gerdung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Engelsby's Lars Caspary got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bindersleben's Akira Gerdung got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Gabor Pechmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carl Brunar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Kelme having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Gabor Pechmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
