Greste's Maximilian Kursinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Wittwer in the 4th minute of play. Brix Lambrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ballerbach05's Tillmann Meuleners got control of the ball when Tobias Schmedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballerbach05's Ingo Franke got a free kick in the 18th minute. Max Wittwer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Kursinski having to interfere. Daniel Marquardt's late challenge caught a Ballerbach05's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Marquardt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Ballerbach05. Lukas Leibold stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximilian Kursinski. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Maximilian Kursinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brix Lambrecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gasparo Phillip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tillmann Meuleners tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gasparo Phillip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Brix Lambrecht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballerbach05's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brix Lambrecht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasparo Phillip in the 70th minute of play forced Ballerbach05's goalkeeper Tillmann Meuleners to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Max Wittwer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballerbach05's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Wittwer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximilian Kursinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Ballerbach05 got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Gafus. Tillmann Meuleners showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Schmedes in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballerbach05's goalkeeper Tillmann Meuleners, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ballerbach05's Brix Lambrecht in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Greste's goalie prevented a goal. The Greste fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ballerbach05 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
