Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ralph Thälmann started the match with the kick off. Kai Boris Wegner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heinz Hauer's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Henglarn FSV getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Drees Jagusch hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Geiselwind's Winfried Lammertz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kai Boris Wegner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Henglarn FSV's goalkeeper Kai Boris Wegner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heinz Hauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kai Boris Wegner having to interfere. Winfried Lammertz scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kai Boris Wegner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Philipp Mostofizadeh came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kasimir Spethmann could save by the left post. Kai Boris Wegner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Pieper in the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Henglarn FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Bader to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Geiselwind got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Pieper. If Achim Ziener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasimir Spethmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Thälmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A hard shot by Harro Sager from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Kasimir Spethmann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Henglarn FSV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Geiselwind were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Winfried Lammertz was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Philipp Mostofizadeh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kasimir Spethmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michele Held took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasimir Spethmann. Kasimir Spethmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 60 minutes into the game, Gunter Marsching was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geiselwind's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henglarn FSV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Geiselwind's Gunter Marsching got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kasimir Spethmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Mostofizadeh in the 64th minute of the match. Kasimir Spethmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Mostofizadeh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasimir Spethmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philipp Mostofizadeh in the 87th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Geiselwind got a freekick which was hit by Heinz Hauer. Kasimir Spethmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Thälmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Lukas Pieper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ralph Thälmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasimir Spethmann was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Philipp Mostofizadeh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Henglarn FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Henglarn FSV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
