After having played for 20 minutes, Oliver Epp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KÖLLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Epp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ronny Krehl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BergstreetBoys Juniors's Hermann Heidsiek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Rosenbaum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Josef Holzwart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ronny Krehl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th match minute, FC KÖLLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Wüllbier to maneuver through the defense. Hendrik Graumenz's late challenge caught a BergstreetBoys Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermann Heidsiek came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by FC KÖLLE's Oliver Epp. But to his dismay, Oliver Epp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joshua Repplinger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronny Krehl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Heidsiek having to interfere. Toni Wüllbier hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Issey Budden struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Hermann Heidsiek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC KÖLLE. 59 minutes into the match, BergstreetBoys Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Krehl came free, but Hermann Heidsiek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Oliver Epp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oliver Epp kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot BergstreetBoys Juniors's keeper Hermann Heidsiek was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Oliver Epp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Heidsiek having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Dimitri Steffes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KÖLLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BergstreetBoys Juniors the free kick. Josef Holzwart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Rosenbaum in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Oliver Epp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermann Heidsiek. BergstreetBoys Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Epp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Oliver Epp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Hermann Heidsiek made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Epp got free with Hermann Heidsiek in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Joshua Repplinger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josef Holzwart. FC KÖLLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joshua Repplinger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 94th minute, Ludwig Beuschlein sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BergstreetBoys Juniors's Hermann Heidsiek didn't even have to move. When Ronny Krehl came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FC KÖLLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Krehl couldn't finish the play.
