After 3 minutes, Ayman Kemmerle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Unkraut and the Eisern Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Unkraut's Ayman Kemmerle got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Rochus Tenberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Baader in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, FC Unkraut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Ehrgott to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Unkraut booed when Eisern Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Benecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lukas Huth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adil Bernstein having to interfere. Adil Bernstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomislav Pollan went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jörg Göger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rochus Tenberge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adil Bernstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Maaßen's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Maxim Maaßen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Eisern Union's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Huth came free, but Adil Bernstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Huth might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adil Bernstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Huth ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Eisern Union's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Maaßen came free, but Adil Bernstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rochus Tenberge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Baader, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakob Heupel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Huth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adil Bernstein having to make a save. Maxim Maaßen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Adil Bernstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukas Huth made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christopher Benecke in the 51st minute of play forced FC Unkraut's goalkeeper Rochus Tenberge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Huth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Adil Bernstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moritz Klotzbücher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rochus Tenberge. FC Unkraut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomislav Pollan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Rochus Tenberge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Baader, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Bert Ehrgott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Christopher Benecke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eisern Union's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Unkraut the free kick. In the 66th minute, Christopher Benecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Unkraut's Rochus Tenberge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Baader in the 74th minute of play. Bert Ehrgott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Adil Bernstein made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Unkraut's Bert Ehrgott slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adil Bernstein. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. Adil Bernstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomislav Pollan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Eisern Union's Adil Bernstein got control of the ball when Maxim Maaßen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rochus Tenberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Klotzbücher in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Unkraut's Tomislav Pollan got a free kick in the 86th minute. FC Unkraut's Rochus Tenberge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Göger in the 89th minute of play. 1-2 became the score in the 92nd minute when Jan Baader elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rochus Tenberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Baader in the 96th minute of play. FC Unkraut's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
