The audience thought a goal was coming when Dustin Haug got free with Rochus Hovermann in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rochus Hovermann made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Dustin Haug sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Bad Schussenried were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
