In the 2nd minute, Simon Kirchberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes Grimelsheim FC got a freekick which was hit by Heimito Seisler. After 6 played minutes Zwirkenberg got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Kotthaus. When Christian Linde came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Zwirkenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Linde couldn't finish the play. Friedl Grytz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhard Knoche having to interfere. When Adrian Hertäg fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zwirkenberg's protests and gave Adrian Hertäg a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Zwirkenberg got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Hertäg. If Pedro Kotthaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Heimito Seisler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Kühn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, Dirk Schwarz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zwirkenberg and the Grimelsheim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Grimelsheim FC's Heimito Seisler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Mulder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heimito Seisler in the 33rd minute of play forced Zwirkenberg's goalkeeper Christopher Mulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zwirkenberg's Pedro Kotthaus got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Friedl Grytz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eberhard Knoche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Zwirkenberg's Friedl Grytz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eberhard Knoche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eberhard Knoche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Kotthaus went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Kühn to make the kick off. Heimito Seisler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heimito Seisler took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Mulder. Christopher Mulder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Christian Linde hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The Grimelsheim FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Grimelsheim FC's Heimito Seisler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Kotthaus kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Eduard Kühn struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Christopher Mulder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grimelsheim FC. In the 74thth minute of the game Heimito Seisler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zwirkenberg's Christopher Mulder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Friedl Grytz could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Eberhard Knoche however easily saved by the left post. Friedl Grytz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eberhard Knoche came out and tried to block the shot, but Friedl Grytz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 91st minute. Heimito Seisler scored 3-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christopher Mulder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
