Leonhard Eckhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Elmar Bordorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Union Mühlhausen's Elmar Bordorf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Union Mühlhausen from getting a goal against them. Elmar Bordorf didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SV Giftnickel's Eugen Mayer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Ansgar Elsässer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Union Mühlhausen's Elmar Bordorf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugen Mayer scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elmar Bordorf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ansgar Elsässer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elmar Bordorf having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Kubica in the 27th minute of play forced SV Giftnickel's goalkeeper Leopold Seelenbinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jan Kubica fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Union Mühlhausen's protests and gave Jan Kubica a yellow card for diving instead. Jan Kubica hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, FC Union Mühlhausen's Bo Söhner made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopold Seelenbinder was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Bo Söhner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopold Seelenbinder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopold Seelenbinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Kozub in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Ulf Kozub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopold Seelenbinder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Spitz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Leonhard Eckhardt hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Emil Welz from long distance, 56 minutes into the match, got Leopold Seelenbinder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ansgar Elsässer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claus Kandelhard during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claus Kandelhard kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, FC Union Mühlhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Mayer came free, but Elmar Bordorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Bleicher kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Emil Welz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Union Mühlhausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Welz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopold Seelenbinder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Eugen Mayer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Union Mühlhausen's Elmar Bordorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ansgar Elsässer in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, SV Giftnickel's Leopold Seelenbinder got control of the ball when Zlatan Struck tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, FC Union Mühlhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Kandelhard came free, but Elmar Bordorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ansgar Elsässer in the 80th minute of play forced FC Union Mühlhausen's goalkeeper Elmar Bordorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Kubica was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jan Kubica kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Ulf Kozub mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Union Mühlhausen and the SV Giftnickel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Ulf Kozub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonhard Eckhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Elmar Bordorf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that SV Giftnickel were the better team. SV Giftnickel's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
