In the 3rdth minute of the game Ansgar Elsässer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zwirkenberg's Christopher Mulder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopold Seelenbinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Hertäg in the 4th minute of play. Eugen Mayer kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Adrian Hertäg's late challenge caught a SV Giftnickel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Hertäg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zwirkenberg's Adrian Hertäg got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Jannick Zyla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopold Seelenbinder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Hertäg in the 12th minute of play forced SV Giftnickel's goalkeeper Leopold Seelenbinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SV Giftnickel defense, Friedl Grytz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopold Seelenbinder. The SV Giftnickel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopold Seelenbinder should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd match minute, SV Giftnickel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonhard Eckhardt to maneuver through the defense. Christian Linde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopold Seelenbinder. SV Giftnickel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Pedro Kotthaus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leopold Seelenbinder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ansgar Elsässer kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Pedro Kotthaus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leopold Seelenbinder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of SV Giftnickel booed when Zwirkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Hertäg didn't get a good kick on the ball. SV Giftnickel's Leopold Seelenbinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Kotthaus in the 37th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Pedro Kotthaus notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SV Giftnickel's Leopold Seelenbinder. Leopold Seelenbinder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fox Frenzel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Christopher Mulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ansgar Elsässer, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 60 played minutes SV Giftnickel got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Eckhardt. 61 minutes into the match, SV Giftnickel's goalkeeper Leopold Seelenbinder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedl Grytz. Christian Linde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Leopold Seelenbinder made a huge save. The supporters of SV Giftnickel booed when Zwirkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Eigen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Ansgar Elsässer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Mulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute SV Giftnickel were awarded a corner. Ansgar Elsässer went to the cornerflag to take it. SV Giftnickel's Ansgar Elsässer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christopher Mulder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Christopher Mulder came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Giftnickel's Eugen Mayer. But to his dismay, Eugen Mayer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If Ansgar Elsässer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Ansgar Elsässer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Mulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonhard Eckhardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk Schwarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leopold Seelenbinder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, SV Giftnickel's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Kotthaus came free, but Leopold Seelenbinder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SV Giftnickel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zwirkenberg's performance. The match ended with a win for Zwirkenberg.
