Cord Huffschmid didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, FC Goatstaller's goal looked a bit too open when David Kies came free, but James Klütz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Langenbaum FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ralek Juncker hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo Langhammer in the 10th minute of play forced FC Goatstaller's goalkeeper James Klütz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serkan Mehlbaum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Piepenburg having to interfere. In the 14th minute Timo Langhammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Klütz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Goatstaller's James Klütz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Notthoff in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Timo Langhammer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Klütz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The FC Goatstaller players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Langenbaum FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timo Langhammer made a kick off. Patrick Pahlke came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and James Klütz could save by the left post. 58 minutes into the game, Timo Langhammer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of James Klütz. Timo Langhammer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Omar Piepenburg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serkan Mehlbaum in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Langenbaum FC's zone, Richard Ansorge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Piepenburg came out of the goal and Richard Ansorge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Timo Langhammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Klütz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Goatstaller's Serkan Mehlbaum got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute of the match, Timo Langhammer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but James Klütz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 74th minute, Patrick Pahlke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Langenbaum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Oswald Notthoff took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for James Klütz to make any attempt to save it. 82 minutes into the match, FC Goatstaller's goalkeeper James Klütz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Pahlke. The crowd rose to their feet as Heiko Schünemann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Klütz. That made the score 0-6 in the 83 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Timo Langhammer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Klütz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 89 minutes of play, Langenbaum FC's Timo Langhammer made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. James Klütz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Ansorge in the 93rd minute of play forced Langenbaum FC's goalkeeper Omar Piepenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Pahlke got free with James Klütz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The FC Goatstaller fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Langenbaum FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
