The referee ignored Vfl-327's protests and gave Jens Baum a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vfl-327 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jens Baum hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, USAK SPOR 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Winfried Kochert came free, but Leon Razavi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pitt Hornung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Razavi was a little too slow when Winfried Kochert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 27th match minute, USAK SPOR 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Engel to maneuver through the defense. Michail Ernstberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Holst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Pitt Hornung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vfl-327's supporters rose to their feet, but Pitt Hornung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Razavi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Winfried Kochert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vfl-327's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pitt Hornung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Razavi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winfried Kochert in the 70th minute of the match.
