Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Winfried Kochert kicked off to start the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Pavel Kuttner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viktoria Köln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Kuttner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Klöffer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michail Ernstberger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Pitt Hornung ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter-Michael Gerig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Viktoria Köln's goal looked a bit too open when Winfried Kochert came free, but Peter-Michael Gerig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Kuttner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michail Ernstberger having to interfere. Ingo Heinzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Pitt Hornung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktoria Köln's Pavel Kuttner got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pitt Hornung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Pitt Hornung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Winfried Kochert in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter-Michael Gerig prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Klöffer made a kick off. 52 minutes in the game, Winfried Kochert fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peter-Michael Gerig having to interfere. Michail Ernstberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Kuttner in the 55th minute of play. Emanuel Klöffer took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michail Ernstberger. Michail Ernstberger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Jürg Jakob came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Vfl-327 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jürg Jakob couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Kuttner in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michail Ernstberger saved Vfl-327 from getting behind. Winfried Kochert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter-Michael Gerig having to make a save. A hard shot 75 in the game by Wolffram Schneidewind from a close distance when the talented Peter-Michael Gerig managed to make a qualified save. Viktoria Köln's players were relieved. Ingo Heinzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Viktoria Köln got a freekick which was hit by Till Toncar. In the 92nd minute, Winfried Kochert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vfl-327 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
