Friedrich Schwartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Laukenmann in the 17th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Mario Stevens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Friedrich Schwartz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 46th minute Nigel Paun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Friedrich Schwartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Laukenmann to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Colonia Agrippina's zone, Robert Laukenmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Friedrich Schwartz came out of the goal and Robert Laukenmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Laukenmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colonia Agrippina's Friedrich Schwartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Colonia Agrippina from getting a goal against them. Mario Stevens took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Friedrich Schwartz. Friedrich Schwartz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Friedrich Schwartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Laukenmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Colonia Agrippina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Robert Laukenmann scored to the left of an out of position Friedrich Schwartz, making the score, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Friedrich Schwartz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to TB Richen getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nigel Paun hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corvin Kreissler got free with Friedrich Schwartz in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corvin Kreissler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Friedrich Schwartz made a huge save. In the 79th minute Robert Laukenmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Friedrich Schwartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedrich Schwartz was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Corvin Kreissler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
