Jupp Abschatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerhard Jarosch in the 7th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Gerhard Jarosch made a precise shot to the right of Jupp Abschatz. Friesau FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Markus Hofmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jupp Abschatz having to interfere. Jupp Abschatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Prinz in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Dennis Prinz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Friesau FC's Jupp Abschatz. Jupp Abschatz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jupp Abschatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rainald Baumeister's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to Friesau FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Frans Trochowski hit a great ball. Jupp Abschatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Prinz went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Friesau FC's Jupp Abschatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Prinz in the 31st minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Markus Hofmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Friesau FC's Jupp Abschatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, FC Wursthausen's Ullrich Schmid got control of the ball when Thomas Gobsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Friesau FC's zone, Rainald Baumeister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jupp Abschatz came out of the goal and Rainald Baumeister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uli Gentner was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Wursthausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerhard Jarosch to maneuver through the defense. If Markus Hofmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Wursthausen's Rainald Baumeister got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Markus Hofmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jupp Abschatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Friesau FC's Jupp Abschatz got control of the ball when Gerhard Jarosch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Friesau FC's Jupp Abschatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Friesau FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jupp Abschatz managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when FC Wursthausen's Dennis Prinz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Wursthausen! FC Wursthausen:s Ullrich Schmid showed great skill when he stopped Arne Krause:s penalty. Jupp Abschatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Hofmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jupp Abschatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Hofmann in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Joachim Frenne de got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jupp Abschatz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Friesau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerhard Jarosch came free, but Jupp Abschatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Prinz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jupp Abschatz having to make a save. The supporters of FC Wursthausen booed when Friesau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Trochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by Gerhard Jarosch from a close distance when the talented Jupp Abschatz managed to make a qualified save. Friesau FC's players were relieved. Jupp Abschatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Hofmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rainald Baumeister got free with Jupp Abschatz in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Friesau FC's Jupp Abschatz got control of the ball when Gerhard Jarosch tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Wursthausen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Friesau FC.
