An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Quinten in the 35th minute of play forced Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's goalkeeper Guido Spörer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Spörer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Guido Spörer came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Górnik Bykowina's Torsten Langhals. But to his dismay, Torsten Langhals quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Quinten came free, but Guido Spörer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Spörer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Quinten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pius Kala to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Mauricio Quinten fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the KS Górnik Bykowina defense, Pius Kala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gülsün Rammert. The KS Górnik Bykowina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gülsün Rammert should have stopped the shot. Gianni Weischede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gülsün Rammert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Quinten in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Spörer saved Graf Bernhard zur Lippe from getting behind. When Simon Emeterio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After 65 played minutes KS Górnik Bykowina got a freekick which was hit by Simon Emeterio. Torsten Langhals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Spörer having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Graf Bernhard zur Lippe got a freekick which was hit by Ilja Schaper. Guido Spörer made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ibrahim Rosenhagen sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's zone, Ibrahim Rosenhagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Spörer came out of the goal and Ibrahim Rosenhagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Weischede in the 89th minute of play forced KS Górnik Bykowina's goalkeeper Gülsün Rammert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Hellmuth Vitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Gianni Weischede was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS Górnik Bykowina the free kick. After 92 played minutes Graf Bernhard zur Lippe got a freekick which was hit by Gianni Weischede. With a little luck, Graf Bernhard zur Lippe's Guido Spörer got control of the ball when Rocky Minschke tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Torsten Langhals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Langhals recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
