Hendrik Borkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik Borkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes FC Weser Bremen got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik Borkowski. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Quinten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Hitzler was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Steffen Hitzler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Quinten's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Steffen Hitzler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Quinten in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, KS Górnik Bykowina's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Eberhardt came free, but Gülsün Rammert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Oleg Picker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Weser Bremen's Steffen Hitzler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steffen Hitzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Quinten in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Mauricio Quinten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Quinten in the 30th minute of play forced FC Weser Bremen's goalkeeper Steffen Hitzler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gülsün Rammert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Eberhardt in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, FC Weser Bremen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Fusten to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Torsten Langhals sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steffen Hitzler skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Bykowina's Oleg Picker got a free kick in the 41st minute. Axel Eberhardt's late challenge caught a KS Górnik Bykowina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Eberhardt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Leon Betzer had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Mauricio Quinten took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Steffen Hitzler to make any attempt to save it. In the 59th match minute, FC Weser Bremen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Martin Kippert to maneuver through the defense. Rocky Minschke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Steffen Hitzler made a huge save. Steffen Hitzler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Quinten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hendrik Borkowski came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Weser Bremen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hendrik Borkowski couldn't finish the play. Mauricio Quinten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Hitzler having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ibrahim Rosenhagen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Weser Bremen's Steffen Hitzler. Steffen Hitzler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hendrik Borkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gülsün Rammert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Quinten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steffen Hitzler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Axel Eberhardt was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC Weser Bremen getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Axel Eberhardt hit a great ball. If Mauricio Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steffen Hitzler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Quinten in the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Torsten Langhals managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Górnik Bykowina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Langhals was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Mauricio Quinten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Weser Bremen's Steffen Hitzler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Steffen Hitzler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Langhals, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hendrik Borkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Mauricio Quinten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Steffen Hitzler came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauricio Quinten slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 99th minute. When the final whistle sounded KS Górnik Bykowina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Weser Bremen.
