The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Simon Nötzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Simon Nötzel fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nievelitz FSV's protests and gave Simon Nötzel a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Nötzel hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Rappo Ottmar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Georg Hierlinger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 minutes of play Nievelitz FSV's Simon Nötzel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Simon Nötzel kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Nievelitz FSV's goalkeeper Georg Hierlinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rappo Ottmar. In the 37th minute Rappo Ottmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Hierlinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rappo Ottmar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Georg Hierlinger made a huge save. Joseph Dutzmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tommy Werner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Herbert Peddinghaus hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Fernando Schnellrieder made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ohlenhard FSV's Graciano Fazio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rappo Ottmar in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Hierlinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62ndth minute of the game Rappo Ottmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nievelitz FSV's Georg Hierlinger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Rappo Ottmar sped through Nievelitz FSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Georg Hierlinger. After a defensive mix-up in Nievelitz FSV's zone, Gretel Lindenthal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Hierlinger came out of the goal and Gretel Lindenthal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nievelitz FSV's Didi Adelfinger suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rappo Ottmar during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Ohlenhard FSV fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Ohlenhard FSV's Rappo Ottmar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Ohlenhard FSV getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Konrad Wendt hit a great ball. Rappo Ottmar struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Georg Hierlinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ohlenhard FSV. In the 81st minute, Gretel Lindenthal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ohlenhard FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Ohlenhard FSV's Rappo Ottmar in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nievelitz FSV's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Ohlenhard FSV's Rouven Neumann got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Tommy Werner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Peddinghaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nievelitz FSV's Fred Sass got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ohlenhard FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
