Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nils Olejmeulen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Josip Braner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Doderer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Olejmeulen in the 11th minute of play forced Irmenach FSV's goalkeeper Ricky Kuckhoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolf Reisinger might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Doderer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Reisinger ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Irmenach FSV's zone, Noel Wolf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky Kuckhoff came out of the goal and Noel Wolf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Irmenach FSV's Heino Svoboda got a free kick in the 21st minute. Nils Olejmeulen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Kuckhoff having to interfere. Irmenach FSV's Ricky Kuckhoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Irmenach FSV from getting a goal against them. Arne Doderer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Reisinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Ittersbach FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Bister to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Wolf got free with Ricky Kuckhoff in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Josip Braner made the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Reisinger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josip Braner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Arne Doderer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Irmenach FSV booed when Ittersbach FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulf Holstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josip Braner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rudolf Reisinger might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Doderer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rudolf Reisinger ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rudolf Reisinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ittersbach FC booed when Irmenach FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eckart Mach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Doderer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josip Braner, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
