Jaap von Gyldenfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Werner having to interfere. Gerke Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rappo Ottmar in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Olaf Herzig threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ponlehen FSV's Julius Rogge quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ponlehen FSV's goalkeeper Gerke Hennig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24thth minute of the game Rappo Ottmar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponlehen FSV's Gerke Hennig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonid Dreyer kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Rappo Ottmar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerke Hennig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 33rd minute Rappo Ottmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerke Hennig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Ohlenhard FSV's Rappo Ottmar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerke Hennig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gerke Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gretel Lindenthal in the 46th minute of play. The Ponlehen FSV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ohlenhard FSV were winning 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rappo Ottmar in the 54th minute of play forced Ponlehen FSV's goalkeeper Gerke Hennig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Werner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaap von Gyldenfeldt's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to Ohlenhard FSV getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Olaf Herzig hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rappo Ottmar in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerke Hennig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnim Kircher's late challenge caught a Ohlenhard FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnim Kircher helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ponlehen FSV's Arnim Kircher got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Rappo Ottmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rappo Ottmar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rappo Ottmar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gerke Hennig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Erich Heine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Jaap von Gyldenfeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ponlehen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ohlenhard FSV the free kick. In the 84th minute, Jaap von Gyldenfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
