Otto Daus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Perschl, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Dion Binkert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Kofler in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to leverkusen pl getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fritz Streit hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marko Perschl in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otto Daus saved leverkusen pl from getting behind. Otto Daus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Buschlinger in the 17th minute of play. Andrej Reb kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Andrej Reb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Daus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Simon Banzmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Kofler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dion Binkert having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Marko Perschl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Otto Daus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nenad Schulze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Kofler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bechtolsheim's zone, Simon Kofler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dion Binkert came out of the goal and Simon Kofler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Simon Kofler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Wottka hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Marko Perschl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Daus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, leverkusen pl's Simon Banzmeier got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to leverkusen pl getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Simon Banzmeier hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SV Bechtolsheim defense, Simon Kofler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dion Binkert. The SV Bechtolsheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dion Binkert should have stopped the shot. SV Bechtolsheim's Andrej Reb got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, leverkusen pl's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Perschl came free, but Otto Daus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Elvis Volz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SV Bechtolsheim's Dion Binkert. Dion Binkert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elvis Volz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dion Binkert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Elvis Volz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. leverkusen pl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvis Volz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
