Raphael Wuttke struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Willi Scheunemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edoburg. The supporters of Edoburg booed when Bloh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanno Kopp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willi Scheunemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Meng in the 14th minute of the match. If Claus Meng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eckard Mahler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Edoburg's Dierk Adorno got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Edoburg booed when Bloh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reiner Rubeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Claus Meng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bloh FC's Willi Scheunemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kai Cyzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willi Scheunemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Meng in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Wuttke in the 40th minute of play forced Bloh FC's goalkeeper Willi Scheunemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Claus Meng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edoburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Claus Meng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willi Scheunemann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunter Knoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Gerdes in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claus Meng to strike the kick off in the second half. Christer Gerdes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gunter Knoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Witt in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunter Knoll saved Edoburg from getting behind. Till Lüth kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Bloh FC got a freekick which was hit by Till Lüth. The long shot by Dierk Adorno in the 67th minute really tested Willi Scheunemann's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Claus Meng had several of the Bloh FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Willi Scheunemann as he didn't even see the shot coming. 76 minutes into the match, Claus Meng dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Willi Scheunemann, 0-2. In the 89th minute, Eckard Mahler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Levent Kofler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bloh FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edoburg the free kick. Edoburg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
