Gunter Knoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Schwantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Kirchdorf A Inn's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Meng came free, but Hjalmar Witzke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Edoburg booed when Kirchdorf A Inn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Schilder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kirchdorf A Inn were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Edoburg for a fine match.
