Karl Adelfinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Witt in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Gerdes in the 46th minute of play forced TuS Bremen's goalkeeper Karl Adelfinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christer Gerdes came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Bloh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Gerdes couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Gerdes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 89 played minutes TuS Bremen got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Michael Gisart. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
