Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Karol Gutmann kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Karol Gutmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salzburghofen's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Gutmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Innozenz Kirn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Karol Gutmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Innozenz Kirn was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Großenhain FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Gutmann came free, but Innozenz Kirn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Wülfing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Salzburghofen's Nils Brummer got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Gutmann in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Innozenz Kirn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 52 minutes, Nils Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salzburghofen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Innozenz Kirn came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Salzburghofen's Karol Gutmann. But to his dismay, Karol Gutmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 56th minute, Anno Klöffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jorg Kunz from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Edgar Wülfing's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edgar Wülfing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Burgmeier in the 68th minute of the match. Edgar Wülfing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salzburghofen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roman Burgmeier 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
