After some careless play in the Salzburghofen defense, Tobias Schlumberger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Wülfing. The Salzburghofen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Wülfing should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Schlumberger in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Wülfing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes SC Froschhausen got a freekick which was hit by Bolko Borcherding. When SC Froschhausen's Tobias Schlumberger in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36thth minute of the game Karol Gutmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Froschhausen's Friedemann Zembski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgar Wülfing came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Froschhausen's Tobias Schlumberger. But to his dismay, Tobias Schlumberger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Thilo Gunter Schröer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bolko Borcherding fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Froschhausen's protests and gave Bolko Borcherding a yellow card for diving instead. Bolko Borcherding kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Salzburghofen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Froschhausen were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karol Gutmann made a kick off. Tobias Schlumberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Edgar Wülfing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Edgar Wülfing managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when SC Froschhausen's Tobias Schlumberger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of SC Froschhausen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salzburghofen:s goal. Thilo Gunter Schröer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Anno Klöffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Tobias Schlumberger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Froschhausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 77 minutes of play SC Froschhausen's Bolko Borcherding was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th match minute, SC Froschhausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bolko Borcherding to maneuver through the defense. Thilo Gunter Schröer took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Wülfing. Edgar Wülfing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Salzburghofen's Edgar Wülfing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Salzburghofen from getting a goal against them. Ulli Wrage charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulli Wrage the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Salzburghofen booed when SC Froschhausen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulli Wrage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Wülfing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thilo Gunter Schröer in the 97th minute.
