Neuberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haimendorf FC the free kick. Vincent Weidemann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Hadeler having to interfere. Max Hadeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Weidemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Helmuth Grabert to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Haimendorf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Grabert came free, but Rainer Stapelfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Helmuth Grabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rainer Stapelfeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eduard Kumbruch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Max Hadeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
