The crowd rose to their feet as munchen fc's Dietmar Wisgalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joschi Bucher. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Felix Felix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 played minutes Hamme got a freekick which was hit by Hansel Overesch. 11 minutes into the match, munchen fc's Felix Felix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joschi Bucher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as munchen fc's Dietmar Wisgalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joschi Bucher. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Tim Kaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ante Schirmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armin Bohnhorst kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Jörn Singer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joschi Bucher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, munchen fc's goal looked a bit too open when Pitt Heyse came free, but Ante Schirmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Hamme's goalkeeper Joschi Bucher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dietmar Wisgalla. 31 minutes into the match, munchen fc's Dietmar Wisgalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joschi Bucher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Felix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joschi Bucher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Felix might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joschi Bucher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Felix ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Felix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joschi Bucher having to make a save. Joschi Bucher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Ginsberg in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, munchen fc's Dietmar Wisgalla made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joschi Bucher was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tim Kaspar made a kick off. munchen fc's Felix Felix got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hamme getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Armin Bohnhorst hit a great ball. munchen fc's Jörn Singer got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dietmar Wisgalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joschi Bucher having to interfere. Joschi Bucher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dietmar Wisgalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes, Dietmar Wisgalla made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hamme's Joschi Bucher tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Till Brase kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erich Patschinski got free with Ante Schirmer in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Dietmar Wisgalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joschi Bucher was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 81 minutes of play, munchen fc's Dietmar Wisgalla made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joschi Bucher was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Dietmar Wisgalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of munchen fc booed when Hamme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hansel Overesch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eberhard Deicke kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Felix Felix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joschi Bucher. Hamme's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Felix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There was no doubt that munchen fc were the better team. munchen fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
