Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donny Dusend started the match with the kick off. Jens Passmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ke Chang Hong in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rd match minute, FC LAUENBURG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Riesenhuber to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC LAUENBURG's zone, Ke Chang Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Passmann came out of the goal and Ke Chang Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Ke Chang Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Passmann. FC LAUENBURG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ke Chang Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Ke Chang Hong came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Aalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ke Chang Hong couldn't finish the play. Jens Passmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ke Chang Hong in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Pascal Riesenhuber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Nico Rebstrup got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26th minute, Ke Chang Hong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holger Harms's late challenge caught a FC LAUENBURG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Harms helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Aalen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Harms to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Aalen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Dusend came free, but Fritz Labauve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC LAUENBURG's Jens Passmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egoitz Toledo in the 35th minute of play. After 37 minutes FC LAUENBURG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nico Rebstrup who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Aalen IF's corner Nico Rebstrup fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jens Passmann quite easily take care of the ball. Ke Chang Hong took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Passmann. Jens Passmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ke Chang Hong to strike the kick off in the second half. Ke Chang Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Passmann having to interfere. Jens Passmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Rebstrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jens Passmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ke Chang Hong in the 57th minute of the match. Ke Chang Hong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Harms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jens Passmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Ke Chang Hong had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Stefan Fornahl charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Fornahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC LAUENBURG fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! In the 71st minute, Holger Harms ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Passmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 75 minutes of play, Aalen IF's Egoitz Toledo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Passmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Holger Harms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Harms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Egoitz Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, FC LAUENBURG's goal looked a bit too open when Egoitz Toledo came free, but Jens Passmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Rebstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aalen IF's Fritz Labauve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Aalen IF from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute, Pascal Riesenhuber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aalen IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
