In the 13th minute, Wilfried Spieß got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Theodor Gerhold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Femmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niko Schuster made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Wolfhard Svoboda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niko Schuster in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wolfgang Kretzschmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 minutes of play, Hausten FSV's Niko Schuster made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wolfgang Kretzschmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wolfgang Kretzschmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Schuster in the 68th minute of play. Torsten Femmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingo Weidmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FcGadebusch's Wolfgang Kretzschmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfhard Svoboda in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to FcGadebusch getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ingo Weidmann hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, FcGadebusch's goal looked a bit too open when Niko Schuster came free, but Wolfgang Kretzschmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hausten FSV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
