Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Aalen IF's Fritz Labauve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbo Söldner in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Pjotr Streich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Ersan Weidlandt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Wehen Wiesbaden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aalen IF the free kick. Ke Chang Hong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fritz Labauve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jo Jahn went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aalen IF's Ke Chang Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ke Chang Hong succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 26th playminute. 31 minutes into the match, Aalen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Abbo Söldner came free, but Fritz Labauve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abbo Söldner hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Jo Jahn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fritz Labauve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aalen IF were furious when Egoitz Toledo was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave SV Wehen Wiesbaden a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Sporer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aalen IF's Fritz Labauve. 1-3. Aalen IF's Fritz Labauve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Weidlandt in the 47th minute of play.
56 minutes into the match, Aalen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Jahn came free, but Fritz Labauve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ersan Weidlandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Labauve having to interfere. When Zvonimir Fritz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Wehen Wiesbaden's protests and gave Zvonimir Fritz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SV Wehen Wiesbaden's Zvonimir Fritz got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Holger Harms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, SV Wehen Wiesbaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zvonimir Fritz to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Aalen IF got a freekick which was hit by Nico Rebstrup. After a defensive mix-up in Aalen IF's zone, Ersan Weidlandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Labauve came out of the goal and Ersan Weidlandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, SV Wehen Wiesbaden's Fritz Labauve threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jo Jahn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Aalen IF's zone, Zvonimir Fritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Labauve came out of the goal and Zvonimir Fritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute of the match, Ersan Weidlandt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fritz Labauve was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ersan Weidlandt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fritz Labauve firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonimir Fritz in the 81st minute of play forced Aalen IF's goalkeeper Fritz Labauve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Harms might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ursus Pfeffer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Harms ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the game, Abbo Söldner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fritz Labauve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SV Wehen Wiesbaden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
