Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Konstantin Bretschneider started the match with the kick off. Edmund Reh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Vieth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Konstantin Bretschneider fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rimslrain FC's protests and gave Konstantin Bretschneider a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rimslrain FC's Damon Marquart got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Lamowski in the 11th minute of play forced Rimslrain FC's goalkeeper Edmund Reh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vielank booed when Rimslrain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Schelberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vielank's Julius Lamowski got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmund Reh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemens Klause went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. August Baldmann hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Bretschneider in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Bertram Kuppinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernd Dambowsky didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josef Tochtermann went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Bernd Dambowsky made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Josef Tochtermann sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Bertram Kuppinger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bernd Dambowsky was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marko Krinke's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Edmund Reh on his right side and into the goal. 44 minutes into the game it was 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Lamowski in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Reh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Lamowski to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Josef Tochtermann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernd Dambowsky. Vielank's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Tochtermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 59 minutes into the game, Vielank's Clemens Klause nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Reh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Rimslrain FC's Silvain von Bülow got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bernd Dambowsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Tochtermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Julius Lamowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Reh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Josef Tochtermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Reh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Krinke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vielank's Rudolf Vieth got a free kick in the 84th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Rimslrain FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Lamowski came free, but Edmund Reh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, August Baldmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rimslrain FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vielank the free kick. After 96 played minutes Rimslrain FC got a freekick which was hit by August Baldmann. Vielank were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
