Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julius Lamowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Katterbach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Lamowski came free, but Dittmar Ruck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gernot Bechtron came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Katterbach FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gernot Bechtron couldn't finish the play. Ibrahim Volkmer hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Katterbach FSV's Klemens Steffen got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the match Fritz Rudolf Binninger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dittmar Ruck skillfully saved the ball. Katterbach FSV's Dittmar Ruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Krinke in the 29th minute of play. Julius Lamowski took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dittmar Ruck. Dittmar Ruck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dittmar Ruck was a little too slow when Julius Lamowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 37 minutes of play, Vielank's Julius Lamowski made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dittmar Ruck was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Lino Achterdeich made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Julius Lamowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vielank fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After having played for 55 minutes, Lino Achterdeich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Katterbach FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Achterdeich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Lamowski in the 59th minute of play forced Katterbach FSV's goalkeeper Dittmar Ruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Lamowski in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dittmar Ruck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dittmar Ruck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemens Klause, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Katterbach FSV's Dittmar Ruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Vieth in the 66th minute of play. Bernd Dambowsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gernot Bechtron in the 68th minute. The supporters of Katterbach FSV booed when Vielank was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Rudolf Binninger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Katterbach FSV's Lino Achterdeich got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Achterdeich during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Lino Achterdeich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dittmar Ruck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Vieth, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes Vielank got a freekick which was hit by Thoralf Berens. Dittmar Ruck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Krinke in the 86th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Katterbach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Steffen. After some careless play in the Katterbach FSV defense, Julius Lamowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dittmar Ruck. The Katterbach FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dittmar Ruck should have stopped the shot. Clemens Klause kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
