Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julius Lamowski started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vielank's Tibor Rubner got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bernd Dambowsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Bretschneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Bertram Kuppinger hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rimslrain FC's Edmund Reh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Rimslrain FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Vielank booed when Rimslrain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Schelberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Waldemar Schelberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julius Lamowski spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rimslrain FC's goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Rubner during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Tibor Rubner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar Schelberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Schelberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Rimslrain FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Schelberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Bretschneider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernd Dambowsky was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Vielank's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Tochtermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josef Tochtermann made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Lamowski in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Reh saved Rimslrain FC from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Vielank's goalkeeper Bernd Dambowsky had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstantin Bretschneider. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Lamowski in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Reh saved Rimslrain FC from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Julius Lamowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Reh was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Edmund Reh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Lamowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Julius Lamowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Edmund Reh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rimslrain FC's Waldemar Schelberg got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemens Klause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edmund Reh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Tochtermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstantin Bretschneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bernd Dambowsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Reh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Lamowski in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Vielank got a freekick which was hit by Arnulf Winter. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vielank fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rimslrain FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
