Henriko Resch charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henriko Resch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henriko Resch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Friedemann Nittel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uwe Kues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Friedemann Nittel having to interfere. Marc Juhr kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uwe Kues made a kick off. Friedemann Nittel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Kaempfe, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Henriko Resch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Friedemann Nittel having to make a save. In the 61st minute Uwe Kues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Friedemann Nittel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedemann Nittel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Kues, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th match minute, FC.EV.Bären was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Schock to maneuver through the defense. Uwe Kues scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Friedemann Nittel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
