Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marco Grabein made the kick off and thus started the match. Cem Danner hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Marco Grabein succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Oswald Austin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Brenner. Polonia Bytom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswald Austin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. GALATASARAY 67's Sebastian Zweig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Grabein in the 38th minute of play. Bastian Laschke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Grabein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Polonia Bytom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Hoppe to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes, GALATASARAY 67's Jannis Berg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Johannes Brenner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GALATASARAY 67 reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Björn von Heereman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Marco Grabein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Zweig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Laschke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sebastian Zweig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marco Grabein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polonia Bytom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Grabein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Zweig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Grabein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Zweig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Grabein in the 92nd minute of the match. Polonia Bytom's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
