After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Winfried vom Stein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haberthal's supporters rose to their feet, but Winfried vom Stein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Bollen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Winfried vom Stein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Bollen having to interfere. Gottlieb Güven kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Albin Bollen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Kremers in the 87th minute. Haberthal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
