Gil Breche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Kastner in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Patrick Witsch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1 FC LUPUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Yalova SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 1 FC LUPUS were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toralf Polster stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as 1 FC LUPUS's Patrick Witsch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gil Breche. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Kerstan in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Spanehl prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
