Tord Bergamenter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Breiffel in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Breiffel in the 45th minute of play forced Profibolzer's goalkeeper Tord Bergamenter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gero Partsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Bayern München booed when Profibolzer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Yilmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theo Händel hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Profibolzer's goal looked a bit too open when Gero Partsch came free, but Tord Bergamenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
