Zinédine Vitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Schneider's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. FC Holzmichel 04's Zinédine Vitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Schneider in the 5th minute of play. When Morgan Korth came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ellerau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Korth couldn't finish the play. With his leg Olav Hellwig managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when FC Holzmichel 04's Murat Simon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute Tommy Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinédine Vitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Murat Simon fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Holzmichel 04's protests and gave Murat Simon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Holzmichel 04 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Murat Simon hit a great ball. FC Holzmichel 04's Zinédine Vitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Schneider in the 25th minute of play. Morgan Korth scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zinédine Vitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zinédine Vitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Schneider in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Morgan Korth notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Holzmichel 04's Zinédine Vitz. Zinédine Vitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ellerau's Olav Hellwig got control of the ball when Clemens Clauren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zinédine Vitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Bagehorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Zinédine Vitz came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ellerau's Morgan Korth. But to his dismay, Morgan Korth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morgan Korth to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Ertas Kuchel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Olav Hellwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Simon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Klute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Olav Hellwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Holzmichel 04! A collision led to Ellerau getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vlad Steiner hit a great ball. FC Holzmichel 04's Zinédine Vitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Bagehorn in the 75th minute of play. Olav Hellwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Teichert in the 81st minute of the match. Helmut Machleid lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When Clemens Clauren came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Holzmichel 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemens Clauren couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 98th minute by Tommy Schneider got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tommy Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinédine Vitz having to interfere.
