A hard shot 12 in the game by Elmar Appelt from a close distance when the talented Nick Patrzek managed to make a qualified save. Elzweiler FSV's players were relieved. Rudolf Harnack came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Elzweiler FSV's Marco Limburg. But to his dismay, Marco Limburg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marco Limburg kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Klemens Schramm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nick Patrzek was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Lukas Hutterer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nick Patrzek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elzweiler FSV's Thorben Schimpf got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Thorben Schimpf off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elmar Appelt got free with Nick Patrzek in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the game, Sascha Franzen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elzweiler FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosenfeld the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Elzweiler FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sascha Franzen to maneuver through the defense. The Rosenfeld players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elzweiler FSV were winning 0-1.

55 minutes into the match, Elzweiler FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Appelt came free, but Nick Patrzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Hutterer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Patrzek having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Lukas Hutterer made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Elzweiler FSV's Nick Patrzek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Hutterer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Patrzek having to interfere. Nick Patrzek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Appelt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frieder Mrozewski struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nick Patrzek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosenfeld. Christopher Ahrens hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Elmar Appelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nick Patrzek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rosenfeld fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elzweiler FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
